By now, we’re sure you have heard the news that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is about to ban the import of dogs into Canada from over 100 countries, including Thailand.

This devastating ban will come into force in just over three weeks’ time, dashing the dreams of hundreds of dogs in an instant.

Canada has a proud history of rescue and has long been a place of refuge for dogs in need. Since 2015, over 500 Soi Dog rescues have left our shelter for loving homes in provinces across the country, from Vancouver to Nova Scotia.

And it must stay that way, for there is no end of dogs in need of rescue, love and safety. Please raise your voice for them today.
