⚠️ Upsetting images ⚠️ As a young dog, poor Wiwa has already been through so much. When he was just a puppy, he was abandoned on the streets alongside his siblings.

Being such a dangerous environment for a young puppy to grow up in, Wiwa’s siblings sadly died in road traffic accidents – leaving Wiwa alone, and having lost everyone he had ever known before he was even a year-old. 😥 💔

To make things worse, when Wiwa was abandoned he had rope around his neck. As he got bigger, the rope tightened, and Wiwa had no way of escaping the pain and discomfort the rope caused as it buried deeper into his skin.

Finally, Wiwa’s luck changed when he was brought into one of our mobile clinics for sterilisation. Our mobile team could see that Wiwa was in need of urgent treatment, so he was transferred to our hospital where he could receive the medical care he needed.

With the help of animal lovers like you, Wiwa has been able to make an incredible recovery. He’s now able to spend his days socialising and playing with the other dogs in his run. He’s even recently been enjoying walks and spending time in our off-lead areas. He’s still quite shy and cautious of people, but after everything he’s been through, we really can’t blame him.
