Today is International Blind Dog Day. What better time to introduce you to our 🌟Dog of the Week🌟 Kurusart? https://links.soidog.org/adopt-kurusart

It might not be obvious at first glance, but Kurusart is indeed a blind boy. We don’t know how he lost his vision, and surprisingly it wasn’t the reason he came to the shelter either.

Kurusart was rushed to us in July last year after being hit by a car. While our vets were able to get him up and on the move again with the help of surgery and physiotherapy, there was nothing they could do to restore his sight.

International Blind Dog Day is all about celebrating these special dogs and showing the world that their blindness is no barrier to them living full and happy lives. It certainly doesn’t stop Kurusart from embracing the day (and enjoying the embrace of his human friends), and we’re hopeful it won’t stop him finding a home either.
