With International Orangutan Day 19 August Still F..

With International Orangutan Day 19 August still fresh in our minds, please help save our Bornean orangutans.

In the last century there were about 230,000 orangutans in the wild. Today, the orangutan population is estimated to be less than 110,000.

In Sarawak, there are estimated to be only 1,800 orangutans left, and this is very troubling. Sadly, orangutan numbers are declining due to habitat degradation caused by unsustainable logging practices, unsustainable land-use planning as well as forest conversion for agriculture and infrastructure development.

Your support is very much needed, please donate at https://community.wwf.org.my/project/3/story Thank you for helping to save our Bornean orangutans.
