This is Ulu Sebuyau National Park, another lesser known protected area in Sarawak, that is also home to orangutans. A wildlife corridor project to connect Ulu Sebuyau and Gunung Lesong national parks is underway, to improve connectivity and reduce fragmentation of orangutan habitats.

Our work will also involve supporting the livelihoods of local communities through agroforestry and nature-based tourism activities, as well as empowering them as co-stewards for orangutan and nature conservation.
