This is Woody and he is an old dog disabled dog we got from a kennel a few days ago. Woody has a cancerous growth in his throat and is admitted at Gasing Vet. So far he still eats well. We depend on Gasing Vet to treat doggos like Woody. Because the cost incurred will be high, we are seeking your generosity to help settle our sky high bills at Gasing. Our volunteer will be fund raising at Gasing tomorrow Sat Aug 20 and Sun Aug 21 from 11 am to 6.00pm. She will be at the open space next to Gasing’s main entrance. You can walk up to the counter and make payment with any amount of your choice to cover our debts. Alternatively, you can make the contribution to our volunteer who will make payment at the counter on your behalf. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
