Can you imagine being part of a family one day? And then completely abandoned the next? Neither can we. 😔

Poor Cagnay just couldn’t understand what she had done wrong, why she was suddenly unworthy of being loved. 💔 Her face might have looked a little different to how it used to, but she was still the same sweet girl, with the same desire to be cared for.

Found abandoned on a rubber plantation – with many other dogs in the area, Cagnay was extremely frightened and at risk of being hurt. She was also suffering from severe skin problems, and needed treatment to help her heal. ❤️‍🩹

When she arrived, Cagnay was dehydrated (likely from a lack of access to water), suffering from a flea infestation, dermatitis, hyperkeratosis (overgrowth of keratin on a dog’s skin), and a skin rash.

Luckily, she’s now in the safety of our hospital receiving the treatment she needs for her skin, as well as lots of love and care. No matter what an animal’s circumstance, they only deserve compassion and kindness. 🧡
