At Twelve Years Old, Loxie Has Likely Spent Most O..

At twelve years old, Loxie has likely spent most of her life on the streets. Being a stray dog is probably all she has ever known. 💔

When her eyes started to hurt, she must have been in so much pain. To make things even worse, Loxie had also been suffering from alopecia, which had caused a lot of hair loss and resulted in a fungal skin infection. 😔

Loxie must have been so frightened to have been struggling on the streets alone – not knowing if help would come. In the end, it took just one compassionate person to stop and call for help. After being ignored by so many people, it must have been such a relief to finally receive kindness.

Luckily for Loxie, there’s only more kindness to come now she’s in the safety of our shelter receiving the help she needs.
