As You Can See From His Before Photo, Calvidor Was..

As you can see from his ‘before’ photo, Calvidor was a sorry state when he was first found. Laying in the dirt and barely able to lift himself, he looked like he had given up all hope of being saved. 💔

With your help, we were able to rescue Calvidor and bring him to the safety of our sanctuary where he could receive the medical care he urgently needed.

Being a previously owned dog, Calvidor had a collar around his neck which had become embedded in his skin causing a deep wound. From an owned dog to this – we’re not surprised Calvidor had lost all hope. 😔

After a few months in the hospital, Calvidor was able to make a full recovery from his physical wounds, and is now able to spend his days in the small dog run where he fits just right in.

Whilst he has made incredible progress, he is still quite shy and enjoys the comfort of his run, but we hope within time he will gain some more confidence.
