These are just two examples of value add pepper-based products that farmers from Rumah Dagum and Rumah Peter learned from the @Malaysian Pepper Board during a training session recently.

The session also taught them about:

➡️ treating common diseases affecting pepper;

➡️ producing organic fertilisers using fruit extracts, vegetable scraps, and chicken manure.

In Sarawak, pepper has good potential to become a sustainably farmed and environmentally friendly community crop that continues to benefit the people.
