Anonymity, Respect Of Privacy, Etc.

Hi everyone,
Recently, we have had volunteers (especially fosterers) who have requested anonymity and we fully respect that. You’d notice I have been blogging their stories without their names. My request here to all readers is that, if you know who these anonymous people are, could you also kindly respect their privacy and do not reveal their names or initials in the comments on this blog or comments on our facebook page, or anywhere else. They have their own private reasons for requesting anonymity and we need to respect that.
We respect the privacy of our donors, volunteers and all who offer to HELP, if they wish to remain anonymous.
HOWEVER, those who ASK for help or RECEIVE help from us would have to reveal their names because we need to be accountable to our donors that so-and-so has received help from AnimalCare. This applies to monetary (subsidy) help as well as any other requests for help. We cannot entertain those who ask for help but insist on using a pseudonym.
Also, a gentle reminder to everyone that when you write in to ask for help/assistance, your email will be published verbatim on the blog. It is stated here:http://myanimalcare.org/disclaimer/and in our other pages as well (Policies, Subsidy, Rehome, Foster). Please do not write what you do not want published. The reason I publish your request verbatim is that I do not want to distort your original request in any way.
Your understanding is most appreciated.
Thank you.
