Ever Seen A Swimming Primate ? The Proboscis Monke..
Ever seen a swimming primate 🙉🐒? The Proboscis Monkey is not only a prolific swimmer, but they are also able to dive and propel themselves in water. Besides their prominent nose, 👃they also have webbed feet to help them cross rivers to find food and escape predators such as crocodiles, jaguars and large lizards 🐊..
You might find one of these creatures in swampy mangrove forests and along the rivers of Borneo, which also happen to be the most threatened habitats 🌳. Habitat fragmentation forces them to travel farther and spend longer times searching for food, leaving them vulnerable to predators on the hunt.
