Brainy Is On Rainbow Bridge Now

My friend just texted to say Brainy has passed on.

Brainy is now on Rainbow Bridge, whole again, and happy. I am taught that rebirth is immediate and that is so comforting in times of bereavement. Brainy’s suffering is over now. No more pain. He is at peace now.

My personal thanks and gratitude go to my friend for making the effort of accompanying John Siang to the clinic, waiting in the queue, helping him during the consultation with the vet, giving him advice on what to do with Xiao Cheang (the injured one) and Mi Bao (the un-injured one) and finally, taking Brainy home to nurse since Brainy was in a very bad state.

Brainy hung on bravely and stoically for three days, tended with loving care and devotion from my friend.

We now send our loving prayers to Brainy for his safe passage to Rainbow Bridge or to that better place that all animals go to upon their demise from this Earth.

Thank you, my dear friend, for rising above our earthly mundane commitments and doing the most compassionate thing for Brainy – nursing him after that most unfortunate accident.
