Just a reminder that the Straits International School’s Summerfest concert is happening tomorrow. The school’s July newsletter detailing the charities to benefit is also attached.

Music fans, create some noise for Straits International School’s SummerFest concert!

Enjoy musical performances from all age groups, while a silent auction bids to raise funds for our four school charities. There are over 20 exciting lots up for grabs including: prizes from the E&O, Hard Rock & Lone Pine Hotels; bespoke dining decor by Lavish Lifestyles Malaysia, and a Vinstella quartz diamond necklace and earring set!

The charities we support are:

- Seri Cahaya Welfare Home

- SPCA Penang

- St. Nicholas’ Home, Penang

- Ranji Nursing Home

The silent auction is open to all, online bidding has now closed but those attending Summerfest on 15 July and Graduation on 19 July can also bid in person.

SPCA Penang's main objectives are to prevent the unnecessary suffering of animals and to ensure responsible pet ownership. Hence the Society acts to prevent cruelty to animals and promotes kindness towards them by fostering an intelligent public interest regarding Man's duty animals.

Though the Society is sometimes compelled to put down an animal, our work covers a much more wider scope of rescuing, rehabilitating, healing and re-homing the animals.
