In line with Malaysia Airlines’ commitment towards net-zero emissions and part of its overall climate change mitigation efforts, MH passengers will now be able to opt-in for an optional donation to support WWF-Malaysia’s forest conservation efforts in Batang Ai, Sarawak. The project involves the planting of gaharu and other native trees to provide additional income to the local community, while helping to protect and enhance precious forests for wild orangutans.
