We All Love A Foster Fail, Dont We? Heres Another ..

We all love a foster fail, don’t we? Here’s another foster-home-to-forever-home story that will melt your heart.❤

Paiyear was rescued on New Year’s Eve 2018. She’d developed an infection after giving birth to a litter of pups on the streets. The whole family was brought into Soi Dog, and Paiyear was given the treatment she needed to recover.

Fast-forward to 2021, Paiyear was chosen by our wonderful partner rescue Wagmor Pets in Los Angeles, USA. She was one of the lucky dogs who was able to travel to the USA before the (now revised) CDC import ban took effect in July. Demetrio, Wagmor’s adoptions coordinator, sent us the following update on life since she landed in sunny California:

“Paiyear arrived at Wagmor on a day I was not at work, so I never met her on arrival. I ended up meeting her later that week one-on-one and realized she was super cute, but at the time I could not adopt.

Eventually, I was able to foster her, and she got along so well with my cats. I started taking her hiking and walking, and she was just the most perfect dog ever. She lets me carry her like a baby and lets me pet her all the time. She jumps at me when she sees me and gives me lots of kisses and always hugs me.

A couple weeks later, I was able to secure a new apartment with enough space for Paiyear and my cats, so I decided to make Paiyear officially my dog. ❤

She loves to go on long walks, loves hiking, likes going on runs with me and likes taking naps on her bed. She is a great friend to explore the mountains with. I always take cute pictures of her because she enjoys it.

She is a very funny girl and will be loved every day for the rest of her life! My girlfriend and I are so happy to have her in our home. Paiyear is the best thing that has ever happened to me.”

Paiyear’s #furrytailending story proves that some things are meant to be – we just have to be patient and allow events to unfold as they should.
