This family was rescued by Rihan. Since no fosterer could be found – the family was sent to a paying fosterer. They will be there for two months pending the puppies being up for adoption. MDDB will provide the food. Monthly fee is RM500. Their boarding of RM1,000 will be paid with the balance raised for Rohani’s Honda. Rihan had also rescued six motherless puppies and asked if we could partially pay for the boarding. We agreed and the funds for this will also come from the balance.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
