Honda

We are going to put our needs aside today to raise funds for two independant rescuers – Hafshah Nor and Cikgu Rohani Wahab. Both are dedicated feeders and rescuers.

1) Cikgu Rohani has reached out to us for help to raise funds for a dog she is feeding named Honda. She was told the dog had met with an accident. When she went to the location to bury Honda, she found the doggo to be still alive but unable to move due to a fractured back. In her own words:

“Saya diberitahu dia mati dilanggar di tepi jalan depan Pusat Servis Honda. Jadi pergi tengok untuk tanam dia.Tapi alangkah terkejut ,dia mengangkat tangan seolah² minta tolong kerana dia masih hidup.”

Cikgu Noraini has admitted Honda at a vet for surgery where she was given an estimated bill of RM5,000. So far she has raised about half the amount and needs another RM2,500.

2) Recently Hafshah rescued an injured dog and sent it to UPM for treatment. Partial bill has been settled but she still owes UPM RM2,002.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
