Hi all,

Currently our shelter is managing close to 100 dogs and puppies. Whilst we have Aunty Kiew and Uncle Wong doing a heroic job managing the shelter, and we’re also at the moment very lucky to have Richard who’s actually back to Msia for a holiday but after looking at how short-handed we are, committed his weekdays to helping Aunty Kiew and Uncle Wong at the shed. Not forgetting Mrs Lai whom also help out at the shed on weekday and keeping tab of the rehomed furrizen and help to cook massive amount of rice to feed the dogs.. in fact i believe her fridge are almost fully occupied with ingredients for the doggy food =) Lastly our dear Fan who is always on the lookout for potential adopter, doing house calls and also one of the bloggers for us =)

The rest of us who are working, we can only make time to help out on the weekend *sigh*

Therefore, we desperately need more volunteers who are able to really roll up their sleeves and help out in running the shelter. We need these volunteers especially on weekdays. ( I think Aunty Kiew and Uncle Wong deserver a break, don’t you =) )

Although the work is physical, the rewards are incalculable - the dogs will definitely appreciate it - you will know when they start treating

you like a star and follow you around trying to get your attention - definitely "satisfaction guaranteed"!!

Hahahaa… see what i mean when i said they will follow you like you’re a celebrity =)

Before you even step into the shed, you will receive an overwhelming welcome by the furrizens. They will huddle up together at the entrance and greet you noisily :D

and then they will escort you around the shed

And then when it’s time to say goodbye, they will send you off with lots of PAWS >_<

So if you are interested or know anyone who is interested in making a real difference to the lives of these dogs AND can spare 2-3 hours on weekdays - even
