很久没稍来Woofy的消息了，没想到一发就是坏消息 ……. 😞 (eng ver 👇)

Woofy当年康复后因找不到合适的领养人，最后被暂养他的志工家人承诺照顾他一生，过着幸福开心的生活

但从去年尾开始，他出现断断续续的食欲不振、腹泻、眼睛严重红肿等问题

家人带着Woofy进出各大医院检查、住院多次 ，都无法找出病因，情况一直反反复复，时好时坏

没想到上两个月情况更是恶化，身体甚至肿了好几粒硬块，更被其中一位兽医判了死刑，说是癌症，没的医了，只能提供最后的安宁照护

6年前，躺在血泊中双手都被碾断的小北鼻Woofy, 那时的其中一位主治医生便是Dr.Nita, 当时医生从鬼门关前救了他一命

6年后，没想到她再次救了Woofy一命！

是这位医生最后终于成功找出了病因

Woofy患上了非常非常罕见的癌症 – 淋巴母细胞淋巴瘤 (lymphoblastic lymphoma)，只有区区3%的狗狗被诊断过患上这个病，而Woofy在确诊时，就已到了癌症第三期 ……..

这个癌症，也是医生从医十多年来都没碰上过的病

大家心底都特难受

这孩子才六岁，所历经的手术、插针抽血、住院的次数，都比一个成年人来得多很多

为什么命运就是不放过他?

确诊后Woofy马上开始了每周的癌症化疗和每天吃药，他的化疗一路排期会进行到今年11月，本来20+公斤肥美的他，整整消瘦了一大圈，瘦到都能看到肋骨了，真的太心疼了

但好在这傻孩子总是坚毅乐观，即使生病住院，他也永远满满的正能量和笑容，反倒像在安慰我们，「我没事啦，别担心」

没人知道做完了疗程他会不会完全康复，或康复后会否再复发 ….

Woofy的整个疗程预估将耗费近马币四千 (这还只是粗估，不包括如有其他的突发状况或化疗副作用)

It’s been a long time since we posted Woofy’s news, we didn’t expect it to be bad news once we shared ……

After Woofy recovered that time, he could not find a suitable adopter, and the family of our volunteer who temporarily fostered him promised to take care of him and live a happy life since then.

But since the end of last year, he has experienced intermittent loss of appetite, diarrhea, and severe red and swollen eyes.

The family took Woofy in and out of many vet clinics for check up and hospitalizations many times, but all the vets could not find the cause. The situation has been repeated, sometimes good and sometimes bad.

Unexpectedly, the situation has worsened in the past two months. Woofy’s body even swelled several hard lumps. One of the veterinarians even sentenced him to death, saying that it was incurable cancer.

We really want to thank Dr.Nita, a veterinarian from Vet Partners clinic, Nusa Bestari.

Six years ago, Woofy, who was still a tiny puppy lying in a pool of blood with his hands crushed, Dr.Nita was one of the attending doctors at that time, who saved his life from the gate of hell.

After 6 years, we didn’t expect that she saves Woofy’s life again! It was this doctor who finally managed to find the cause.

Woofy has a very, very rare cancer – Lymphoblastic Lymphoma, which is diagnosed in only 3% of dogs, and Woofy was in stage 3 already when he was diagnosed ……

This cancer is also a disease that doctor has not encountered in more than ten years of her medical practice.

Everyone is so sad.

This furkid is only six years old, and he has undergone so many surgeries, blood tests, check up and hospitalizations, which is much more than a human adult.

Why did fate just don’t spare him?

Immediately after the diagnosis, Woofy started weekly chemotherapy and taking medicine every day. His chemotherapy will be scheduled all the way to November this year. Originally, he was 20+kg, he lost so much of weight now and we can even see his ribs, so sad.

But fortunately, this silly child is always determined and optimistic. Even if he is sick and hospitalized, he is always full of positive energy and smiles. Instead, he seems to comfort us, “I’m fine, don’t worry.”

No one knows if he will make a full recovery after the course of treatment, or if the cancer will relapse after recovery …

Please pray for Woofy.

Pray that fate will stop making things difficult for him, and let all suffering end as soon as possible.

Woofy’s entire course of treatment is estimated to cost nearly RM4,000 (just a rough estimation, not including any other complications or side effects)

Since the volunteer family themselves have been helping strays all the year round, they have taken in 60+ strays at their own house, and suddenly comes the huge medical expenses, and they just can’t afford it … Wish to use the power of the public to help Woofy to get through this difficult time 🙏🏻
