Happy World Migratory Bird Day! 🥳 This day highlights the need to conserve migratory birds and protect their habitats. Check out this video of migratory shorebirds that stopped over in Bako-Buntal Bay, Sarawak last February. 😉
These birds are known to fly incredible distances, leaving their homes or breeding grounds. This occurs annually as they leave the northern hemisphere during the cold winter months to seek refuge down south. They travel across the seas and lands, passing through many countries. Do you know that Malaysia is one of the stopover sites for these migratory shorebirds? 😎
