Akira is currently in Ottawa, Canada. However, her story begins here in Thailand where she was rescued from the streets along with her two siblings. They were just six months old at the time.

Soon after arriving at the shelter, both of Akira’s siblings found their forever homes in Thailand. Akira followed in their footsteps a few months later, though she ventured much further to Canada.

Sadly, sometimes things just aren’t meant to be. Akira’s family’s circumstances have changed, and she’s looking for a fresh start in a new home – a home with no other pets or children.

Akira’s current family say she’s a very smart girl. So smart in fact that she learns tricks and games quicker than they can teach her! Besides her intelligence and fast learning, Akira is a true snuggle bug who loves giving hugs in her signature way (in your lap, paws around your neck ❤️)
