Kellys Dogs Are Up For Adoption (Ipoh)

I’d like to personally thank my old school friend, Ms Lee, for helping out with Kelly and Jacinta’s case in Ipoh. Ms Lee and I go back a LONG way, back to our teens when we were still schooling.
As you know, Kelly is looking after more than 100 dogs now. Unfortunately for her, many people also dump puppies and pregnant dogs at her gate. That is how her numbers have swollen to what it is today.
Kelly sold her house so that she can look after these dogs. Her day starts at dawn where she goes to the market to purchase chicken heads and chicken bits to cook for her dogs. I was told that the food that she cooks is so delicious that other dogs passing by her shelter bark (and drool?) and many dogs would sniff her car as well.
Hence, her dogs are all very well looked after. I have also spoken to a vet in Ipoh who has attended to her dogs. He testified that all her dogs are extremely well looked after and have beautiful coats. The vet also said that Kelly truly loves all her dogs.
She spends the whole day at her shelter tending to her dogs until late at night. Her day ends with feeding other strays in areas where they reside. These are not taken into her shelter as they are free roaming animals.
Kelly gets all her shelter dogs spayed-neutered and vaccinated.
We supplied her with 6 bags of dogfood recently, to help supplement her dogs’ food supply.
Recently, someone dumped 9 puppies at her gate and Kelly had no choice but to take them in.
Kelly has now requested for the vaccination for these 9 puppies and later, to get them all spayed-neutered. She will rehome the puppies after they have been neutered.
We have pledge our subsidy for the above.
We have also liaised, through the help of Ms Lee, with a vet in Ipoh where we can pay the vet directly for these procedures. The rates offered is within our subsidy rates. A sponsor has also offered to make up the balance should the bill exceed our subsidy rates. As such, Kelly would not need to fork out her own money for these procedures.
But the best news of all is that Kelly has now agreed to put her dogs up for adoption.
So, we’d like to urge Ipoh residents to please contact Kelly Tan (016-5397192) if you wish to adopt any of her dogs. Of course, there is a screening process as Kelly would like to ensure that her dogs go to loving homes.
Let’s help Kelly find good homes for her dogs.
