Speedy Was One Of Many Dogs Rescued From A Governm..

Speedy was one of many dogs rescued from a government shelter in Nakhon Phanom, northeastern Thailand, after being rounded up in an exaggerated rabies scare there back in 2019. He and his fellow survivors were transferred over 1,500 kilometres from the makeshift facility to our shelter in Phuket.
While many were wary and fearful at first, Speedy soon blossomed into an extremely friendly, social boy who captured the hearts of everyone he met.
After two years at the shelter, we were delighted when Speedy was chosen by Monmouth County SPCA, one of our amazing partner rescues, to start a new life in the USA.
Speedy flew Stateside just before the CDC ban came into effect in July and was adopted a few months later. Here’s an update from his wonderful family:
“We absolutely adore Alfred (aka Speedy). We questioned if he came from a home because we are amazed how well-behaved he is. The first day he made him himself right at home on our couch, haha!
He’s great on the leash, but does get very excited when he sees a squirrel. He’s very smart and knows his new name already. His personality is coming out more and more each day. We thank you and your organization for saving him, and so happy his angels sent him to us! His two cat brothers may not have the same gratitude but with his calm demeanor hopefully that will change!”
Speedy is truly living his best life, making up for all those years he lost on the streets. Will you help more dogs like Speedy find their #furrytailending? https://www.soidog.org/adopt-a-dog
