Dear all,

We are in urgent need to put up a rest area for our Block B dogs. The number of dogs have increased and thus the Block B area is getting crowded with dogs not having sufficient shade. We are also going to turn the far end of Block B as an old doggo area with a small segregated shady area for the to take a rest when not in their room. We have also been rescuing many senior abandoned dogs in recent times. We are also replacing two sections of the fencing with anti-climb fence to keep the naughty girls and boys from venturing into off limit areas. The doors in Block B are also being replaced with metal gates as the rowdies have chewed-up the wooden doors. The amount quoted is RM66,000 and we have paid a deposit of RM15,000 with RM10,000 donated by the Chan family, RM3,000 by the Huang family and we topped up RM2,000. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
