A Tip To Store Leftover Food: First In, First Out!
First In, First Out (FIFO): it’s a really simple practice that urges us to finish first what we initially put in the fridge. Whether your leftovers or extra food are homemade or bought at the Ramadan bazaar, practising FIFO will help us get into the habit of finishing our food, hence reducing food wastage in your home.
> Pro tip: Use a transparent container to store cooked food. Being able to immediately see what food we have in the fridge is a great way to remind us to finish it. For better visibility, put older food in front or at the top!
