So the puppy dumping case as arrived at a conclusion of sorts with the person saying the puppies are in someone’s house and that she will pay for their keep. But that came after a big tantrum. She is still unable to compute that what she had done is wrong. Anyway, this is my retort and I have been banned from her page.

The concept of time is different between humans and animals. Taking the 1:7 ratio – when you kept the puppies at your home for 3 days, it is equivalent to 21 days for them. These are very young puppies who have little experience being feral. When you kept them at your home for three days – not only did you give them a false sense of security but also robbed them 21 days of learning to adapt to street life. For 21 days of their life they did not have to hunt for food. And when you redumped them in the streets – they will expect to be fed just like how they were fed in your house. But the most dangerous factor is that they will regard humans as food providers and go up to people with anticipation of being fed. This is a big danger as they may be harmed by the people they approach as well as can be easily caught by dog catchers. What you should have done is to get someone to adopt them or rehome them yourself. All you had to do is to announce on your social media platforms that you wanted to give them away. But you choose the easy way out by throwing them away and it is so sickening that you believed that you were doing something great. Feigning sadness in one of your videos, where you were having a competition of sorts, was also in poor taste and repulsive. I don’t expect you to understand all this after speaking with one of your staff as the saying goes birds of the same feathers flock together.

That is when I lowered myself to her level and gave her a shelling in a language she is probably familiar with.

If her retort was not reflective of a shallow and constipated mindset, I don’t know what else would.

Never ever do something idiotic like this again.

Anyways, it is because of our pressure that you have taken the puppies off the streets and will be sponsoring them. We made you do something good. Congratulations to us. As for you bringing in God – the puppies were not put there by God. They were probably chucked there by some other puppy dumping idiot. As for your rant of doing good for people – that does not give you the passport to be cruel to animals. Puppy dumping is a cruel act. Stop justfying your cruel act. And yes, I have a sanctuary for dogs.”

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
