⚠ Graphic Images ⚠ This is Alanzo. He was the victim of a brutal act of cruelty that left him with several small wounds on his back. Alanzo also had a chronic wound on his right hind leg and what seemed to be a fungal infection on his skin. From what locals told us, he had been scalded with hot water multiple times and his skin had never recovered… 💔😥 After a local resident reached out to us, our rescue officers had to wait days before they could rescue Alanzo. He was traumatised by what had happened to him, and obviously did not trust anyone to come close to him.

Only because of an animal lover like you was he rescued and brought to the safety of our shelter. Alanzo has now fully recovered from his ordeal, but he is still extremely shy towards humans… he only lets one of our nurses cuddle him. We hope that with time, he will learn to trust humans again, but for now all that matters is that he is safe and well cared for😻🐾.
