We Were Delighted When Pecan Was Adopted Recently...

We were delighted when Pecan was adopted recently. We were always worried it would be difficult to find him a new home as he’s a very nervous dog and would not interact with strangers. Well, he found his happy home and here’s an update from his adopters:

“Here’s an update for Pecan(now named Ponggo), He’smMaking great progress, he now allows us to touch and cuddle him, eating from our hands and play tug of war with us. He eats a lot and gained some weight. We start to take him outside of our property last week, he is still scared of strangers, other dogs and loud noises but getting better day by day. (He hates bath time haha)”

Though the Society is sometimes compelled to put down an animal, our work covers a much more wider scope of rescuing, rehabilitating, healing and re-homing the animals.
