In 2014, we rescued about 20 dogs that were left behind when their human committed suicide. His remains were still hanging from the fan when our volunteers went in to get them. Our old lady Sandy was amongst the dogs together with the most beautiful and loving Rottie we had ever met. She broke our hearts a year and a half later when she died. Run free Vera. We will never forget you.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
