园区3,000多只狗狗们需要放狗虱药水，园区遭狗虱病肆虐，里头真的太多狗了，单单每月的防虱工作就让我们做得精疲力竭了 … 这个星期天急需10位善心义工来帮忙 🙏🏻

⏱️ 集合时间: 中午12PM

📌 集合地点: Pekan Nanas Public Bank

(GPS搜索 “Pekan nanas public bank”)

⏱️ 活动时间: 12.30PM-6.30PM

#注意事项 👇👇

* 只开放给完成两支疫苗和追加剂的朋友们

* 请自备交通，在集合地点碰面后，尾随带路义工的车进入园区

* HOPE园区是在距离银行约10分钟车程的油棕园里

* 请勿擅自进入，因为很大可能会迷失或车陷入泥地的情况

* 请准时，一旦全体义工进入后，我们需要忙着带队和开始工作，所以不会再出去带路

* 请自备足够的饮用水和口罩

* 狗狗很热情，或许会给你很多的脚印🐾和爪痕，建议穿长裤、旧衣服、防滑防水鞋 (时常会踩在潮湿地面和湿水)

* 避免携带贵重物品

* 建议带多一套清洁衣物，活动结束可替换

Dog fleas and ticks are really hard to prevent 😭

More than 3,000 dogs in our shelter need to put on fleas prevention medicine. Our shelter is plagued by tick fever. There are really too many dogs inside. The monthly ticks prevention work itself is really exhausting … This Sunday we need 10 kind-hearted volunteers to help 🙏🙏

🗓️ March 27 (Sun)

⏱️ Time to gather: Noon 12PM

📌 Meeting point: Pekan Nanas Public Bank

(GPS search for “Pekan nanas public bank”)

⏱️ Event time: 12.30PM-6.30PM

Friends who can come to help, please pm us your name and phone number to register, tqvm.

PLEASE NOTE THAT … 👇🏻👇🏻

- Only open to volunteers who have completed two Covid vaccines and booster.

- Prepare your own transportation. Then follow our volunteer’s car to get into the shelter.

- Our shelter is inside an oil palm plantation about 10 minutes drive from the bank.

- Do not enter without authorization, as there is a high possibility of getting lost in the estate or the car getting stuck in the mud.

- Please be PUNCTUAL. After all the volunteers get into shelter, we will be busy leading the group and start to work, we will not get outside to guide again.

- Prepare mask and sufficient drinking water.

- Doggies are too friendly and you might get some little scratches, it’s advisable to wear long pants, casual wear and non-slip & waterproof shoes.

- Avoid to bring any valuable things.

- Advisable to bring towel and a set of clean cloth, so you can change after the activity.

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
