Sweet Almas Had A Terrible Wound On His Right Fron..

Sweet Almas had a terrible wound on his right front leg, and no one knew what had happened to him. His paw was severely swollen and paralysed. He had completely lost any ability to move his paw, and his muscles went into atrophy 💔😥.

His wound was almost double the size of a tennis ball, and he must have been in so much pain. Although we do not know exactly what happened to Almas, our vets believe that his injury might have been caused by a snare trap. Almas used to live on an abandoned plot of land where almost no one would venture… Only because of a local who visited the land once a week was he rescued. Without proper care, his wound could easily have been fatal.

The good news is that, thanks to animal lovers like you, Almas has never looked any better! In just a little over six weeks, his leg was amputated and his wound has healed just brilliantly! Almas is now one of over 170 amputees living at our shelter, in need of ongoing medical care.
