Celebrating Women In Animal Welfare On Internation..

Celebrating women in animal welfare on International Women’s Day. 💪🐶🐱

You work so hard to make the world a better place for sentient beings, and we’re grateful for your courage, your sacrifices and the battles you fight every day to build a brighter future for them. ✨

Here at Soi Dog Foundation, following in the footsteps of our amazing late co-founder Gill Dalley, women take the lead in various roles to help the homeless dogs and cats of Asia, by providing high-quality veterinary care, developing community relations and improving the overall welfare of animals in Thailand and beyond.

Starting with our co-founders Gill Dalley and Margot Homburg, to our current CEO, international director of animal welfare, sanctuary manager, the head of our mobile clinics in Bangkok and the south as well as the heads of many other teams that bring Soi Dog’s holistic approach together – women have always played a key role in the work of Soi Dog. The general workforce is predominantly female too, and what better day to celebrate these women who make it their life’s commitment to speak on behalf of the voiceless.

🧡

We also want to take a moment to thank our female volunteers, including those who help at our shelter here in Phuket as well as those who volunteer overseas as part of our regional teams.

🧡

And most importantly, our gratitude goes to our female supporters from all around the world. Your sheer dedication to improving the welfare of our companion animals is inspiring.

Ladies, thank you all for the love and joy you give to the dogs and cats of Asia through your empathy, generosity and compassion. 🥰
