It’s hard to describe the tsunami of calls facing each rescue center in the Ukraine. People call every minute of the day, asking the shelters to save their animals, to retrieve animals they left behind. The shelters had barely enough staff to manage daily operations before the war, and now, they are at the end of human limits.
