We Are Once Again Flooded After A Week Of Pouring ..

We are once again flooded after a week of pouring rain.

Some of our sewing ladies have been evacuated to temporary shelters since Thursday last week.

Many areas in Chukai town are also underwater, including Kubang Kurus (Maybank, CIMB, RHB banks), low-lying Bukit Mentok, certain areas in Binjai and numerous villages in rural areas, including Kg. Pasir Gajah, Kg. Seberang Taylor, Kg. Dadong and Kg. Air Putih.

Some sections of the access roads are still underwater and closed to small vehicles, including the LPT2 highway Exit 841 Chukai.

We are trying to raise RM5,000 to help the affected ladies replace their damaged linoleum and small electrical appliances.
