The Journey Is Still Long...

Gitano was the victim of a double act of cruelty. He was caught in a snare trap, the wire lacerated the skin around the wound and left nothing but the bone. Gitano was also shot, and the bullet is stuck very close to his heart. Too close to be removed… 😥💔. From the moment he was rescued, Gitano has been hesitant and fearful. How could he trust anyone again after all he has suffered? There are over 179 disabled dogs at our shelter who like Gitano, have endured cruelty and have no one else to care for them. Will you please give a gift to help them being cared for? Please click here: https://links.soidog.org/give-for-tripods🙏🧡
Gitano’s injured leg was amputated and thanks to you he is receiving the best care and behavioural support we could possibly give him. In this short videoclip it might just seem like an ordinary clip, but it shows great improvement. Just until a few weeks ago Gitano was terrified of anyone and anything, but thanks to the hard work of our behaviour team, he is slowly making progress and allowing himself to trust a few selected humans 🥰🐾. Gitano’s journey to full recovery is still long, but he and the many other resident disabled dogs can count on your precious help. Will you give a gift to help them?
