One of our oldest doggo man resident Baboo is having compulsive walking and not able to see clearly. He can walk but is wobbly and might fall down. He has also firgotten how to turn around when stuck in corners. The vet says Baboo is most likely having cognitive dysfunction syndrome, which is just like Alzheimers in humans.
This is a chronic degenerative disease that will get worse overtime with no cure or treatment to reverse the degeneration.
We can only give some nerve supplements and provide supportive treatment like hand feeding him and keeping him in an enclosed area to prevent him from getting ‘stuck” or worse injuring himself.
