Panaprai Was Dumped At A Local Temple Back In 2019..

Panaprai was dumped at a local temple back in 2019. One of the monks reported her and told us about the severe wound on her head which was already covered in maggots when we brought her to our hospital.

While some dogs take a long time to find their forever home, Panaprai only spent about 6 months at the shelter. Elisabeth who saw Panaprai’s story on social media, contacted us from Switzerland as she had fallen in love with this sweet girl and knew she was ‘the one’.

Elisabeth then flew over to our shelter to meet Panaprai, before she whisked her home to Zurich, Switzerland. It’s been over two years since then and here’s a recent update from Elisabeth about Panaprai who’s now called ‘Nala’: “Panaprai or Nala, as we call her since the beginning, is doing very well and she is our “Baby” and she knows it! She [has us] wrapped around her finger…

She is doing fine and is playful and happy and gets along well with her half-brother, Minoes the 19-year-old gorgeous cat (the last of our three cat musketeers) He’s always looking to be close to her at night when we are all going to sleep and there is kind of a “me first” scenario when I am going to bed, so funny!

She is simply not like any other dog in our neighborhood (mostly all are breeds)… People adore her because she has this look in her eyes, like a puppy sometimes, but with a hugely strong mind and little character of her own, a little stubborn; She is the Boss ;) and she and the cat are ruling [our] “apartment world”…

We love hearing about how our rescued dogs and cats are doing in their new homes, all over the world. If you are a former adopter and would love to share your story, please email your story to info@soidog.org

If you are also looking to start your own #furrytailending with a #SoiDogRescue, then take a look at a few of the dogs we have available for adoption on our website: https://www.soidog.org/adopt-a-dog
