HAPPY TALES: CINNABUM

Wufflo! My name is Cinnabum, but you can call me Bum. I am a senior Singapore Special Doggo, and my hooman thinks I am the most beautiful, loyal, and loving dog! <(￣︶￣)>

My Hooman first moved to Singapore in June 2019, leaving her furmily behind. Heartbroken, she was often flying back every few months to visit them. However, Covid-19 hit and she was unable to return home for the foreseeable future. While she never had any intentions of adopting another doggo like me due to nature of her job, lockdown made it possible for us to find each other! I was introduced to her by #SPCASingapore when she offered to help foster a senior dog.

When I first arrived home, I was nervous. For over 10 years, I had never experienced a home – lifts, stairs, and strangers scared me. But with my hooman’s gentle love and patience, I became the most carefree doggo! With my goofy and affectionate charms, I won her heart and she adopted me. I now live the life of luxury! I roll around in my three beds to get comfy, lay in the sun and run around my garden, and I’ve even become a superstar in my neighbourhood!

It has been almost two years now, and my hooman always says that adopting me was the best thing she’s ever done. But what she doesn’t know is that she gave me the chance to experience warmth and love, a safe space to live in, and lots of yummy food to eat. Thank you hooman Lindsay for being my #foreverhome during my senior years, I ruff you.
