A LETTER FROM MARNA… JIP & SAMSARA’S ARRIVAL IN CHICAGO

I received this heartwarming letter from Marna, the lovely lady who co-ordinated this week’s arrival of Jip & Samsara in Chicago, USA. It’s a beautiful account of the joy & excitement experienced by all involved in this happy ending for 2 wonderful dogs.

Good morning Cindy,
I have a veeeeeery soft new little friend cuddled up next to me on my bed this morning as I write. Jip is so very special and she truly reflects the level of care and affection that she has received from all of you at Soi Dog Foundation. I am thrilled to have her with me for this brief period. She is relaxed, yet curious and she displayed her noble character when presented to my little pack…….even with my 15 year old in-your-face Alpha. : ) i am planning to drive to Michigan to meet Nicole on Friday…………it will be a difficult hand-off. How quickly they find their special place in our hearts!

Both girls came out of their crates dry and IMMACULATE. Samsara came bounding out ready to take the U.S.A by storm!! She is Radiant and trusting. Jip was far more reserved and needed to be coaxed out with soft words and warm reassuring hands. They both trembled for about 6 seconds and then they delighted in the exhilirating, brisk air. We had a very full, but very rewarding day and as you might expect, i was exhausted last night, and so I didn’t get a message off to you. I knew that you were seeing the photos and would be happy to see how our day had gone when viewing them.

Thank you again for entrusting lovely Samsara and Jip to my care during their brief stay in Chicago, Cindy. It has been an enriching experience to learn more about others around the world who share in the guardianship of our canine friends. Soi Dog Foundation is an inspiration to all of us. If I can ever be of help to you in the future, please know that you have another set of willing hands in Chicago. Blessings for you, Cindy and for all of the loving and caring people working tirelessly in your organization.
