Soi Dog goes to Phattalung. 🥳
Earlier this month, our 10th mobile clinic started its operations, in one of the most southern provinces of Thailand, Phatthalung.
Our Dog Rescue Officers went around to collect stray and free-roaming dogs and we also had many locals bring animals on their own for sterilisation. Here are some photos from the first few days of the clinic.
The Governer of Phattalung Province also fully supported the project and visited the team on the inauguration date. While the government itself does not have a spay and neuter project to manage street dogs, he was interested to learn more about the methodology we use, and his support is very important for us to carry out the project successfully.
The clinic is currently located in Phra Phayom district, in the northern section of the province. The team consisting of 2 vets, vet support staff and Dog Rescue Officers, will start making their way down further south over the next few months, covering as many areas in the province as possible.
The set up of the 10th mobile team was funded by the #UgglaFoundation and we thank them and you our supporters for helping our CNVR (Catch I Neuter I Vaccinate I Return) project grow over the years, having sterilised over 666,000 animals to date.
