Heres What Our Fantastic Supporters Like You, Did ..

Here’s what our fantastic supporters like YOU, did for the street dogs and cats of Thailand and beyond, in 2021. 🙌

Last year pushed us towards even bigger challenges with the after-math of the on-going pandemic affecting every aspect of our programmes.

🔸We saw more and more animals who needed help including those who were victims of natural disasters, while our adoption numbers dwindled drastically due to the ban imposed by the US Centers For Disease Control (CDC) on importing rescued dogs from countries like Thailand.

🔸As a result, our shelter numbers increased to its highest ever, reaching 1500+ during the year and we needed further expansion of the sanctuary to accommodate all the new arrivals: https://www.soidog.org/content/urgent-appeal/ert

But, the one thing we had more and more of, was your support.🙏

🔸You allowed us to expand our spay and neuter mobile clinic units and reach more animals than ever before in a calendar year: https://www.soidog.org/content/spay-neuter-and-vaccination-cnvr

🔸We also had your support speaking up for animals outside of Thailand.

As part of International Animal Welfare and Protection Coalition (IAWPC) Soi Dog called out to end the terrible ‘Catch and Kill’ policy in Mauritius, demanding for a more humane solution to manage the street dog population in the country. You helped to bring much needed attention to the situation: https://www.soidog.org/savethedogs/mauritius

🔸In addition, we partnered with ARK119, a South Korean rescue organisation who is fighting against the dog meat trade within the country, shutting down meat farms and rescuing as many dogs as possible: https://www.soidog.org/content/urgent_appeal/dmtkorea

The scope of the change you have created is immeasurable, but these numbers from 2021 will give you a glimpse of how together we can create a true change for vulnerable street dogs and cats here in Thailand and beyond, not just yesterday, but today and tomorrow. 💪
