January 2022 ends on a high note. 🙌
13,471 dogs and cats were sterilised last month, which is a 14% increase compared to January 2021. 🥳
This brings Soi Dog’s all-time total to 666,720 animals neutered and vaccinated across Thailand since 2003,and this is all thanks to your amazing support!
This is encouraging news during #spayandneuterawarenessmonth as we are focusing on raising awareness and educating people about the importance of sterilising their own pets and changing misconceptions related to spay and neuter, as some still consider it to be unnecessary and even unhealthy. In fact, sterilised dogs and cats are much healthier and live longer. This applies to both stray and owned dogs and cats.🐶🐱
CNVR (Catch I Neuter I Vaccinate I Return), or what is widely referred to as TNR (Trap I Neuter I Return) is the most humane and sustainable method available to prevent the birth of millions of unwanted puppies and kittens, who will otherwise go through an endless cycle of suffering. Suffering and trauma we witness everyday as animals arrive at Soi Dog in agony, due to abuse, disease, and neglect.
