Nilana Came To Our Shelter In 2020 With An Open Wo..

Nilana came to our shelter in 2020 with an open wound on her neck, but made a full recovery soon after. 19 weeks later, she left our shelter after she caught the heart of a lovely family in Canada who said they wanted to offer a rescued dog a home and came across Nilana’s beautiful face.

Nilana is doing very well with them and they are totally smitten with her. Here’s a lovely update from them:

“It’s almost a year now since Nilana landed in Canada and started her new life with us. She’s a firecracker with a real zest for life. She’s definitely not a fan of the Canadian winter weather, but she never misses an opportunity to go out when it’s a beautiful day. We enjoy hiking and venturing off the beaten path.

She’s a little wild and crazy, a total diva, and loves the sound of her own voice and she loves playing with her tennis balls. She’s a cuddly little thing, but she sure keeps us on our toes!”

For anyone who wants to follow Nilana’s adventures, she has her very own YouTube channel filled with all the fun this former street dog gets up to on a daily basis. From ‘Nilana shopping trips’ to ‘Nilana training and games’, the channel is filled with cute snippets from Nilana’s new life with her forever family.
