Dear Friends,

We need to share some more challenging news and once again asking for your kind support in donating, if possible, and sharing widely among your contacts – especially any of you haven’t already previously shared with. As if being evicted from our dog transit centre premises at ridiculously short notice at the end of last year wasn’t difficult enough, our essential vehicle – our trusty Hilux – was also part of the deal and needs to be returned to the landowner with immediate effect.

Obviously we are unable to operate without it, so need to urgently raise funds to get a decent second hand replacement. We have found a good one:

2014, 66,000 mileage

RM 72,000 body

RM2,200 hard top canopy

RM880 road tax

RM2622.31 insurance

Total RM 77,702.31

The reason we need to replace like for like with another Hilux is because some of our equipment was measured to fit the boot of the original Hilux, so therefore replacing with this reasonably priced, reliable, workhorse again will save us money in the long run.

We know we have asked a lot of our wonderful supporters recently. Words really cannot express our enormous gratitude for your continued generosity. We hope you can find it within your hearts to help get us across the finishing line of this unsettling period, so we can get back to business as usual: helping thousands more street cats and dogs in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor have a better life.
