In 2020, Petra was rescued from an unsafe neighbourhood where the residents didn’t want her around. She was brought to the safety of the shelter and received the treatment she’d been neglected for so long, including surgery for an old fracture to her leg.

Recovered from her ordeal and her injuries, she is now ready to find a home of her own. Petra can be wary when meeting new people, but once she warms up, you start to see her happy and goofy side. She will wag that little stumpy tail and won’t stop smiling.
