还没开始过年就听到炮声不断了 😭
新年还请大家手下留情！很多人不知道烟花、鞭炮会带给小动物们多大的伤害 😔🐶🐱 (eng ver 👇🏻)
别让我们的节庆，变作它们的不幸
每年大日子一定要说的事！
节庆期间祈求大家尽可能不放炮，看紧家中宠物也帮忙关爱流浪猫狗
每一年新年期间晚上去喂浪浪，平日乖乖在原地等待的它们很多总是不知所踪，都被炮声吓死了 😢
有些不知道躲哪去了，有些只敢躲在车底/水沟里严重发抖，好几天都不敢出来吃饭
一些本来就很胆小的浪浪，也会因突来的炮声巨响过度惊慌，在马路上乱窜而遭遇车祸 …. 你不会知道当下我们有多无奈和心痛
眼前绽放的烟花在人类看来很漂亮，却造成了小动物们极大的痛苦，对他们来说就像身处世界大战的炮火中（因为动物听力是人类的好几十倍！
路上动物尸体增加、宠物严重身体不适 (尤其是老毛孩甚至会心脏病发作)、宠物因过度惊吓行为异常、爆冲出家门导致走失等等等悲剧
#请毛爸毛妈们千万小心注意！！！！
把宠物关在室内门窗关好最妥当！否则毛孩走失了真的懊悔掉泪都没用
新年期间很多餐厅档口都休业，浪浪要找吃也更是难上加难了，呼吁大家出外时顺手喂食，帮帮它们度过难挨的节庆期
时代变，传统观念也需要变
不一定非得炮竹响彻天才叫有 “过年气氛”
我们能用更有意义、更有爱的方式来过年

P.S./ 虽作为华人本应开心庆新年，但每年我们真的是忧虑多过开心，加上新年后的求救总是暴暴暴增，也因好几位志工回乡过年而导致人手超级不足，如信息等迟回复了，那不是因我们在忙着过年，而是在园区忙顾猫顾狗 🥲 还盼大家多多谅解 🙏🏻

Please don’t allow our festive season to become small animals’ tragedy.
CNY is coming! Please please avoid setting off firecrackers during this festive season. Keep an eye on your pet as well as help to look after the stray furkids 🙏
Put yourself in the shoes of others and think from the animals’ perspective. For everyone that value life, let us put some good habits into practice.
During every CNY festive period, the streets are always empty when we go and feed the strays as usual.
They’re all frightened to death by the loud noise generated from the firecrackers. Some vanish without a trace while others can only tremble in fear underneath cars, drains and other such hiding spots.
It can be days before they emerge to eat. In severe cases of panic, some stray dogs and cats may rush out onto the roads and being crushed under the wheels of cars….
The firecrackers that we set off may seem brilliant to us, but for these small animals that have a much keener sense of hearing than humans, it may seems as though they’re trapped in a war zone!
Not only are casualties on the roads increasing, erratic behaviour in pets also increase resulting in higher rates of lost pets. It’s always BEST to keep your pet indoor to secure their safety especially during CNY eve!
During CNY, many food courts and stalls are closed making it even harder for strays to find food. Please help to feed them whenever possible to help them tide over this difficult period. 🙏
Help to share this and let us care more about our environment and the lives of those that share it with us, the small animals will appreciate much for your kindness and thoughtfulness.
