142,338 dogs and cats sterilised in 2021!

2021 has been a challenging year, with many highs and lows along the way, but your support made it possible for us to see 142,338 dogs and cats sterilised during 2021, an increase of 17% compared to 2020. To date, Soi Dog Foundation has sterilised 653,249 dogs and cats since 2003 – a huge achievement made possible only by your kind contributions.

Soi Dog Foundation’s CNVR (Catch I Neuter I Vaccinate I Return) programme is the largest spay and neuter project of its kind in Thailand – and indeed the world. Last year, our Bangkok mobile team continued the CNVR project in the capital and its metropolitan areas, while our southern mobile team travelled to other cities and provinces, including small islands in the regions. We also funded smaller projects by other organisations and individuals within the country to help sterilise animals in areas we can’t get to.⁠

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
