WOBBLY CAT
SEEKING A FOSTER FAMILY
Wobbly was found at a void deck of Jurong West, and as her name suggests, she was unable to walk and was instead wobbling around unsteadily with a tilted head. #SPCASingapore was called, and her caller waited with her till SPCA arrived. A check with our vets at SPCA Community Animal Clinic showed that she had head tremors, head tilt (to her left), and dirty yeasty ears with inflamed ear canals.
Despite her condition, Wobbly is not giving up! She calls to anyone lovingly when she wants attention, with her little meows that goes “wooow”. She has won the heart of all the SPCA staff. She is a kind and gentle cat who needs tender loving care.
We are appealing again, for fosterers or adopters who are willing to provide medical care for Wobbly. Wobbly will need your love, care, and patients for the days to come, but it is your effort that will give her a second chance in life. Necessary items, training and guidance will be provided.
More about Wobbly that’ll help your decision:
— Manage her food and water intake so she does not dirty herself so much (spilled food/water needs to be cleared instantly to ensure she does not get cold).
— Area needs to be regularly cleaned to ensure she does not step in her own defecation.
— Bathe her when she is dirty.
— Provide her with lots of love, warmth, and care.
— Wobbly has trouble focusing on specific tasks so she may seem to peck at her food, but she eats and toilets well.
Wobbly is a suspected abandonment case, and we know she deserves all the affection she can get.
Please contact clinic@spca.org.sg if you are able to open up your home and heart to Wobbly, or volunteer@spca.org.sg for other animals in need. 💙
