Bobafett Is The Bella Of The Ball In Her Happy Hom..

Bobafett is the Bell(a) of the ball in her happy home!

Bobafett was brought to Soi Dog in 2017 with her mum and six siblings after they were found abandoned at a marina. The owner of Bobafett’s mum had failed to get her spayed and, when she fell pregnant and gave birth, they simply sailed away and left her and her newborn puppies to fend for themselves. Fortunately, we were alerted to the situation in good time and were able to give the family a safe place to stay.

Bobafett’s mum and siblings were all adopted within the space of a year and left the shelter for destinations across the world, from the UK, to the USA, to Germany, to right here in Thailand. It took Bobafett a further year, but her chance finally came along when our wonderful partner rescue The Barking Lot chose to fly her to their facility in California, USA, in 2019.

After a spell in foster care, Bobafett found her forever family who changed her name and her life! Now known as Bella, this once-shy girl is now relaxed enough to step out and show the world who she is. Here’s an update we received recently from her family:

“My family and I were able to adopt sweet Bobafett (now Bella) via The Barking Lot in San Diego, CA. Bobafett was flown to that partner organization, and my brother and his wife that foster dogs were able to give us the heads up that we should act soon on Bobafett as she was a sweet girl likely to get adopted very soon.

We got Bella, and the rest is history as they say! She has become an angel in our lives (we got her around her 3rd birthday) and recently, we feel she has turned a new corner and her sweet personality and loyalty is now starting to come out even more! We feel so blessed to have given her a new home, a new start, but really, we feel like she blessed us the most during one of the more difficult periods of my parents’ and my life. Thank you for all that you do in saving dogs and we couldn’t be happier to support the organization.”
